Years ago, it was a Hispanic looking guy driving a maroon truck. He’d come through the TA Baytown, ride through the parking lot, see a step with ramps and stands, knock on the sleeper of the truck. Someone answers, “Wrong truck, sorry to disturb you. “ No answer, ramps taken in broad daylight.

So, the next time you are in the Houston area, watch for pickups roaming the lot. Do everyone a favor and snap a picture or 2. Eventuality the wrong driver will get eyes on at the right time, play possum during the knocking, and bring religion to an unbeliever, fully converting the thieving heathen the way that Samuel L Jackson did in Pulp Fiction.

    Forgot to mention:

Years ago, drivers solved this problem by squelching up the radio to the point that it would only pick up in the parking lot. Some sticky fingered chump would come through at night, and everyone would hear about it on the radio. It would sound like a bad day in Beirut for a couple seconds and the rest of the night was quiet.

Today, look for a TikTok video on stolen ramps or flatbed supplies.

I would mark company name on an inconspicuous spot on the ramps in case it happens in the future. Then you could point that out when you go to take them back lol.

I agree but have someone engrave or weld a personal number or name on the inconspicuous spot on each piece and paint them in fire engine green or yellow with black or florescent stripes.
The thieves consider the paint a deterrent but some may strip it.
