“Take low-dose aspirin once a day. Do not take it on an empty stomach. It's best to take it with or just after food. This will make it less likely to upset your stomach.”
Not sure where you get your information..
You can take it on an empty stomach if you like..And then with food after you start having stomach issues..but why wait for it to become a problem..Once prescribed it’s for lifetime.
Please cut sugar and carbs

Aspirin taken at bedtime is best for people with Angina/Heart issues. It’ll peak in the morning when needed most.
Taking it solely as a blood thinner it doesn’t really matter what time of day..just get into a routine that works for you..bedtime being the best.
Risking taking it without food as a buffer can cause stomach bleeding..given it’s a blood thinner it can cause severe bleeding. After all we’re taking it to prevent clotting.. -
Only in older folks I'm under 40 is does not irritate my stomach at all
-
My reason for taking aspirin is a preventative my mom had blood clots two years ago so this why I'm on it....and it's helped
-
It’s not even recommended for people your age under 40. It’s all about is the risk worth the benefit in older age people.
It’s not only about stomach bleeding, that’s the basics..add in small and large intestines along with the ####.
Add in the risk of bursting blood vessels…it ain’t worth the risk as a self prescribed medication for being under 40.
Just because you don’t have stomach issues now doesn’t mean you aren’t doing damage.
You really should have discussed it with your physician before starting the routine. If you ever decide to stop definitely talk to your Doc because stopping can also cause clotting. -
Uh of course I talked about it with my doctor, I didn't just start but it's risk is small compared to my family history risk ....we all do what we need to....Concorde Thanks this.

Ahh, okay.
When you said “My reason” I just assumed you made the decision to take it.
There’s a lot of TTR members who would rather trust YouTube experts over their own personal physician..drives me nutz

All this information I’m giving out cost me $20k
Just waiting for the hospital to send me my medical license, lol.
Ended up getting pulled from the truck in Nebraska and brought to the hospital. Had a severe hypoxia event in Rawlings, WY. That’s the elevation that can make blood clot is your oxygen saturation level is dangerously low.
Unfortunately the clots decided to break loose and cut off oxygen from my brain (hospital confirmed I have one) while taking a ten in Nebraska. Had about 6 TIA’s, complete loss of left arm and leg.Big Road Skateboard and Trucker61016 Thank this.
