Motive ELD AI camera

A question for those of you either owning or driving for a company, using Motive. Recently, the company has updated the parameters that monitor cell phone usage.

Before, if your phone was mounted, and you interacted with it, you would not receive a distracted, driving warning recently that has changed and drivers are receiving distracted, driving warnings, and their driving scores are being reduced anyone come across this?

 

Thanks for sharing your experience, yeah it’s an ok system without the AI, but it seems lately the techies there are trying to “monitor” driving behaviors without understanding the environment.

Unfortunately so many people in these companies get CDL’s and think they understand truck driving, it’s like they can’t get beyond themselves to spend some of their venture capital and hire a million or two million miler to advice them…but they shell out on other consulting fees. Drives me cray sometimes.
