Eaton 18 speed clutch slips under torque.

    lol, and my troubles just multiplied..

    Sam’s Club just fried our Vee-Dub putting in a new battery. Like even the steering wouldn’t work,lol.

    Got it towed to the dealership today and they are going to start with replacing all the main fuses that blew.. Tomorrow they will have the fuses and go from there..Their estimate is $2 to 12k. Sam’s says they will cover everything..we’ll see.

    Anyway she isn’t leaving the dealership with it. Going to get a new one and ride off into the sunset. Not going to be chasing electrical problems later on.

    Modern cars..don’t jump start or offer to help someone with a jump..it could cost you..

    Im always amazed at how people that are in the profession of fixing crap for a living, tend to #### up more than they fix...sorry for ur luck man that is just a crappy deal

    Dang man that is crazy. How does one ruin a car when jump starting? I have my jump box that I use most of the time. Did they use one and hit the 24volt option or something?

    Also did you get the clutch figured out yet? Wonder if it is something else if you didn't have any problems with it this morning. maybe some more issues from that lighting strike a few years ago coming back?

    It’s a Volkswagen special! Mine did the same thing and I thought it was fried but some mega German fuse hidden somewhere deep inside had just popped o_O
