well it's that time of year again first one of many to South Texas.

I don’t know if you remember me or not, but I use to meet you at the Purina in Lubbock. You were driving a California style, flat black, single axle 379 pulling a pair of double flats hauling sack feed, and I was driving a blue and gold Western Star pulling a stainless steel, spread axle Trinity belt trailer.

 

Yes sir I do remember you. Yeah that was an old 79 359. That was a long time ago. You told me you were gonna sell out and move to Kentucky. You had a really nice looking western star.

I’ve seen your posts, and where you’re from, and wondered many times if you were someone I crossed paths with while we lived out there.
Now I know!
I always loved the little rig you were running at the time.

 

yeah I built that truck back into a tandem and started hauling machinery with it. This is the last picture I have of it.
