When I adopted her in Florida I had never had a cat before, it’s been about 2 years now and honestly like she lets me pick her up but pushing my luck like that?
Oh no…no no no, she’s freaked on my foot before and that was enough blood to set the tone lol.

I honestly don’t like cats, I only like my cat lol.

I’m a sucker for Great Danes though, best dog I’ve ever owned was my boy Deuce, losing him at 4 was a hard time.

Well, you have several choices now to take the girlfriend and cat. Double check before accepting the job.

I think you’ll do fine at trucking. I know there’s a lot of pessimism about it, but it’s been good to me for many years.

Wish I'd had a website like this one to learn from when I first started. My first two years was rough because everyone I talked to was so negative. After that I just quit talking to people in truck stops. After that, my new trucking career went very good.

I appreciate that, I’ve taken a few years to learn how to do it but I think I’ve mastered not letting things get to me about 90% of the time. The rest I just take a breath and try to think about it.

I cannot tell you the sheer amount of negativity I see everywhere.

I love the income negativity, like I get not wanting crappy rates after you’ve had good ones yea, but like my honest view is this, I lived off of 540-560$ a week net income in Florida, and then see people saying that 400 per day gross is robbery.

Again, not trying to start an argument just something I’m keeping in mind when it comes to seeing that and not letting it get to me.

Freight rates don't apply to company drivers. As a company driver, you already know how much you'll make even if the freight rates crash. That's a company problem, not a company driver problem.

Oh nice, yea I haven’t gotten there yet because I’m just focused on school.
Once I began school I mainly focused on different states inspections and all that. But occasionally I’d get like A bunch of reels about rates.
