Need Fuel

Anyone else know how to get fuel?

I got a message time ago saying "emergency fuel is no longer active. Use your pre-assigned fuel stops."

And now, I'm getting loads without pre-assigned fuel stops with messages saying "contact your dm for fuel stops."

So, I contact my dm and they say they can't assign fuel stops and tell me to call on-road.

I call on-road and they transfer my call to one of their "other departments" so I can get fuel.

Once transferred to this so-called "other department" I hear a pre-recorded message saying "this fuel option is no longer available, goodbye."

So, how can I get fuel?...or does Swift not want to make deliveries anymore?

 

Makes you wonder if there going to fold shop. Just doesn’t sound right.

 

That'd be funny. 10,000-20,000 employees outta work because they can't assign drivers fuel...

 

I just let customer service reps know via macro 22 the load is running late by 6 hours until the truck can be fueled.

 

When i was with swift i would just send a message on tablet saying i need fuel. And they would send new assignmemt

 

Something is fishy. It's no way a company that large is hanging you out to dry being unable to get fuel. I can't imagine that they'd risk a load being late over fuel. Could you not get to your fuel stop?

 

I suspect it is because of the holiday.

 

Because of high fuel prices several dm's I've talked to said they can't authorize "emergency" fuel anymore. So dm's can't help right now.

 

Did you see my initial post? There was no fuel stop assigned for my load.
