So after driving it today. My real only complaint about the truck. I swear it shifts very slowly. I did see that it's governed at 71. Which according to my GPS is actually 70. Which is nice. Also unless it's because it's a 2023. Basically none of the safety stuff. Really nice truck minus the shifting thing.

 

“Tanker programming” to where the trucks don’t skip gears.

 

I've never heard that but will have to try and see if it makes a difference.

 

Only the new Kenworths have the lane warning stuff. I don't think they were even optioned that way by the company, it's just what was available at the time. They gave up on the extra warning stuff because they found it ade no difference to accident rates.

 

I've taken juice to Ontario before but the two places I delivered to were drop and hook. Maybe they have a new customer requiring pumping.

 

Rubicon Food Products in Richmond Hills ON is the customer. It just mentions driver unload on the load assignment.

 

So I really need to figure out a safe way to climb the tank with my rubber hammer. I was able to by shoving it into my pocket. But that only works if my pocket is big enough. Because today I realized I should make sure the some is tight. Which each ear or whatever you call it on a whiskey tank moved a little with my smacks.

 

You don't wanna tighten them that much. They're supposed to be hand tight. Tightening them too much squishes the rubber gasket and could cause the dome lid to leak.
