I was told the roof on the KW cab and sleeper are fiberglass and may flex enough to crack paint if not crack the fiberglass shell.
I would suggest borrowing a pair of 8 to 10ft step ladders and a couple 2x6 12ft long and build a temporary scaffold over the hood. scaffold.jpg

Don't step or stand on any fiberglass...
    beastr 123 has the idea.
I would not drill any holes in the cab as the vibrations may cause the whole to run.
If ya do Flex-Seal works well.
Stopped my cab marker lights from leaking when nothing else works.

The old aluminum roof Pete and FL cabs will dent pretty easy too. Anyone that used to sit up on the cab to watch the load at silos can tell you that.

Other than the 5 required lights, I try to keep as much #### off my roof as I can, a lot less spots for leaks to form

beastr123, jaffles and FLHT Thank this.
