Hi there! You guys want me to introduce myself so here goes nothing. I am currently working in a job that I am not happy with and I have decided to pursue becoming a truck mechanic. I love fixing things and tinkering in the garage so I thought it would make sense to try to get paid for it. My boyfriend is an owner operator and I have already learned a lot of stuff. I can do oil changes and grease jobs. Hey, you gotta start somewhere right? I am here to hopefully learn more about trucks. If you guys could steer me towards some informational links I would be very appreciative.

Thanks for your kind greetings. Unfortunately, I didn't see much yet that deals with the maintenance of trucks or did I miss it? Which forum do I go to for maintenance issues?

Hi ya Tanya and welcome, I have found that I can gain sound info by scanning topics/threads and reading the one that i wish to learn about, for example you may see a thread like "excessive blowby" read the entire thread and you will be suprised what knowledge you can pickup. I have done this when i first purchased my harley and wanted to have a better understanding of the machine as a whole unit. good luck :biggrin_255:
