    Howdy folks!

Freddie here, came for the CB Radio section, fore Ive forgotten a lot from the 60s-80s when I did radio world wide.
The Avatar is a radio DJ from the Seattle station KZOK. When I first saw this pic, I emailed her and asked why she was using it backwards. She said it was a prop, and it looked better this way. Guess it was not a Silver Eagle.
I am currently cobbling a base and mobile together from stuff that has been locked away for 40 odd years.
Most likely will return to REACT, being Im 2 miles off of I-5.

Since I can not post pics here (no I dont use online storage places), I will not be posting pics.

Yup, he should be able to. Using the attachment button at the bottom works well. But we do have size restrictions for images and it's explained in the link to attach. That is usually the problem. If we allowed super hi res photos, it would take up a large portion of server space.

    OldeSkool and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.

That’s where I run into problems at times is the picture size. I need my daughter to change it for me, phone is a little smarter than I am….

Now you can see this frankentenna.
My FM antenna sits right below the Moonraker Dominator. I used 102 in whips back then, this was given to me, and its been in storage for decades.
Waiting on the coax to come in. Ordered it a few days ago, still has not shipped, so I have a week or so to iron this out.
The radials are all ground free and are insolated from the mast. I had it on my Rad Shack rotor and except west, it picked up stations up and down the coast. Now every station is digital, so another antenna has gone by the wayside.

I am hopping It will act as a ground plane, what do you all think?
