It isn't overthinking if you're really trying to seek information and knowledge. It's a wealth of it on here. The only time I think someone overthinks is if they can't decide on which company to work for and come up with retarded reasons to not make a decision or begin their career. In any event, there's no such thing as too many questions. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. Me personally, I'd rather come across a new driver that has too many questions versus one that thinks they've figured the whole industry out because of YouTube. I already get the vibe you're going to do great!

 

Go to Old Dominion and apply for dock-to-driver program.
Might be ok to mention your Mother was a trainer there at one time.
