    Greetings all....
I am slated to start Central Ref's school on 5-17-10 and would greatly appreciate any info on recent experience with them. There are many horor stories about them and many good reports on them. I'm 54 and it is not the most ideal time of life to be starting a new career but have little choice in the matter. any pros/cons, realistic mileage ect...:biggrin_25514:

Hey thanks for asking.... the shortest answer is no.... I had a problem with my blood pressure being a little to high.... have that back on track now, but Central says for them I must wait 60 days so new date is 7-19... that does not work for my personal needs so am taking a different ave for training...

That is why I said "If".
That first week can clear out allot of people.
I am glad to hear that you have that under control now though.
Many times it is just high from the stress, caffine, and lack of sleep.
    Good luck in your training.

    Thanks ChromeDome...
for me it was an issue of Divine Providence, by that I am referring to being a person of strong faith beliefs and that those who live by that belief believe that the object of their faith ( for me that is Christ) will guide, direct and even protect them from going the wrong direction. The Bible says that God opens doors that no man can shut and He closes doors that no man can open. So for me the door of opportunity with Central is closed and am now going in the direction of W/S in Montana, this was my first choice to begin with....

There is a phrase used between "Bikers" that seems to me would apply to Truckers also " Keep The Skinny Side Down " It means keep the rubber on the road and so I say to you all .... KEEP THE SKINNY SIDE DOWN
and may the Lord of Heaven Go Before You In Your Travels...
