    i need good advice on a manifold for 425 cat. i thought u could put on an e model manifold,but not sure.

    can anyone tell me again how to turn the pump up on my b model cat?

    Turn the screws out equal amounts for now and see how it runs.

    You will need a deep socket, can't remember what size and an allen wrench, also can't remember what size.

    notmuch help huh...lol

    What he said...lol

    If you reach down the back side of the fuel pump they will be behind the cover on the bottom closest to the frame. It will take a 7/16 socket to get the cover off.

    When you do just stick your pinky finger in there and you will feel the screws.

    I think its a 3/8th socket. I used a nut driver because it was easier to use, I dont know what size allen wrench works either, when I had a B model I kept it duck taped to the under side of my tool box lid, back then someone was always wanting to get theirs turned up and that was the fastest way to find it.:biggrin_25523:

    Les, does CAT still make pump seals and wire for the fuel pump?:biggrin_2554:

    IF you mean for the bolt to the fuel screw, yes they do.
