I have one cow in the herd that I declare can speak English. She’s an older cow, but if there’s a fresh heifer, she’ll purposely stay out in the holding pan while we’re milking, just to help push the heifer into the parlor. And then she’ll follow it right in, and squeeze it up tight so they can’t back away. She’s getting old, and she’s almost 400 days in milk, and I was getting worried she wasn’t gonna breed back. Last time we Preg checked, she’s 65 days, I guess we’ll see! I don’t get real sentimental about an animal, but I’m gonna be sad the day we have to get rid of that cow.Feedman, FullMetalJacket, exhausted379 and 10 others Thank this.

Agco can go get bent, I burnt the big belt off that runs the rotor on my combine, and they have a dealer just half an hour away, so I called them to see if they had one in stock. No, they don’t, but another one of their chains stores has one in Illinois. Fine, I said, can we overnight it. I will gladly pay, I got corn to shell, and we got rain coming. Sure no problem. $900.00+\-.
Guy called me back three hours later, and said, Um, we can’t overnight it, because it is not on a new machine. I said, what? What difference does that make? The machine is broken, you sell parts, I think we got a deal here? Sorry, we cannot overnight a part, unless it’s for a new machine. I had checked with At least four aftermarket places, including Shoup, and they were all out of stock or backordered on them. I told him I will call him back, if I decide to go that route, and hung up. Got on the information highway, and found a place that sells forklift parts, that had a belt that crossed. Called them, he said sorry man, we’re out of stock, but here’s one other place that you could check with. Call the number he gave me, guy had one left in stock, 368.00 Coming 2 day air.

Stupid policies like that….are just…stupid.
Kinda goes to show they don’t give a rats about anyone except for the well heeled.
How new does the machine have to be to be acceptable for overnight parts?Feedman, exhausted379, sawmill and 6 others Thank this. -
I do drink my share of Coors trust me lmao

I asked him that, and apparently a 98 is definitely outside of the category. For Pete’s sake, you work at a Parts counter, that means if I need Parts, you get them in.
