Hello and Introduction

My name is Al, I have been involved with the trucking industry for over 35 years. I am currently in a position to were I am receiving up to date information about the trucking industry almost on a daily basis. I am here to possibly answer questions and ask questions related to the trucking industry. My current qualifications are as follows.

1. More than 3,000,000 miles driven
2. Involved in yearly safety training courses (paid for by me)
3. Study trucking industry policies and procedures and make weekly reports
4. Study and try to understand newest rules FMCR and interpret them correctly so I can pass on the information.
5. Have over-sized load hauling exp, hazmat exp, and explosives handling exp.

You see, I didn't have the benefit of having all this information available to me when I started. I think its wonderful that there are so many ways to find out whatever it is you might need to know. I like and understand the rules and regulations on this forum. Hence the reason for choosing this avenue for communication to my fellow travelers. I am here to offer the benefit of my experience and growing knowledge. If you have a question, ask.
