Hi guys, brand spanking green as grass new member here. I'm not sure what to put in this intro, but figured perhaps I would say where I'm coming from and maybe there is someone who has had similar decisions to make and has some advice to offer. I'm giving serious consideration into a driving career, its always been something I found myself wishing I was doing. When I was a mobile welder I enjoyed driving across the country more than anything else. Then I went to school, got educated and went the route of law enforcement, but really didn't enjoy where I was, so I resigned right before the recession hit. I have an opportunity to drive a concrete mixer truck but to be honest it holds no appeal for me, I think flat deck OTR is where I want to go. Long story short, I found this forum and have been reading all the good info on it. Thanks to those who take the time to contribute the good stuff for us new to the industry to read.
