    Hello My name is Nicole
    I have a class A CDL
    I am seeking an owner op who can give me a chance to run team with them. I will work for a lower rate in order to get the experience.

    I am a hard worker and reliable.

    My mother is in financial troubles and I am very concerned that she will lose her home and car if I do not get on the road.

    I currently hold a DOT medical and class A CDL
    I will need help remembering because it has been 3 years since I have been in the truck.

    I have no felonies, misd, or points on my licence.

    Please give me a chance.

    I live in Michigan but I have also a place in Georgia that I can stay if I am unable to obtain employment in the North.

    I realize that there are alot of people that look down on drivers without experience but that does not matter to me.

    My mother needs help and I have a cdl and that is what matters to me.
    So if there is anyone that actually has a heart please, my mother has worked hard all of her life and went to college for 12 years to become a social worker and now she has lost her job. She raised four kids from nothing with no one and worked 3 jobs while she went to college.

    I can not see her lose the house or car.

    You probably already know this, but you can find openings under the "Transport" column of Craigslist, not just in your town but in outlying areas and even distant cities... you can also post your own ad under "Resume/Job Wanted" (you'll probably have to post and repost this, so don't put too much time into it---a short but concise message similar to your post here will do the trick). This is not exactly the best time to look for work, due to this miserable economy, but perseverance will eventually pay off... I empathize with you, because I too am very protective when it comes to family, especially my dearly-beloved Mom. Just hang in there and keep trying... you might also check that FLEETDIRECTORY.COM site, as there are many companies listed there by state (scroll downward). I made literally hundreds of phone calls before recently hooking up with a company that runs literally from coast to coast, the way I like to run.     Want to run team ASAP as owner/operator, want to purchase another tractor. Want dry van dedicated long hauls not concerned about rusty driving skills. I am good teacher live in Iowa and currently looking at options and companies. Dew-man

    i have been getting quite alot of responses to my advert and am currently looking into crengland who will retrain truck drivers ect.. but i have not decided yet to go with them.

    I think it is rubbish that they want you to go back to school and pay for it when you have a cdl and by law you can drive the truck.. now i can understand if that is part of your training itself, but making you pay for it is rubbish.

    Regardless I am fine with it. I would rather be in the truck than out of the truck and I am working very hard on not smoking as well. Its very hard for me.
