What would you like to see in truck stops or what would be your ideal truck stop?

Thanks for the feed back....Hot-tub would be on the "wish list"
I still feel that a clean truck stop is done by having enough employee's working to make it a clean truck stop... Yes maybe i may have "to many" for the showers.
As far as the wash bay, this would be Free but all it would be is a drive thru like a car wash for your car. but on a large scale. (there is a truck wash about 3 miles up the road that does a great job..why steal business)

I thought the motel would be something of a "differnt" setting. When i was otr i hate sleeping in my truck and often walked to a hotel to sleep. but then i only lasted 6months...HATED it with a passion,,course maybe it was the co. i worked for..lol

All the old timers remember the "red ball in the sky" and other truck stops that took the job of serving professional drivers to heart. Some of the old truck stops would wash your truck as they fueled and then one in TN would even park your truck when done fueling while you ate or showered. Very few had fast food just some of the best cooking you wanted. One in MD had a hot tub with a motel to serve truckers. At the same time there was some of the trashiest truck stops in the world here in the states with some of the most filthiest drivers inside.

Remember when drivers used to wave at each other or speak to each other when they met. Most drivers want the good old days back but still act like the truckers of today.

no gasoline pumps anywhere on the property. And a huge sign at the entrance to the parking lot that reads:

"Commercial Trucks only--No Cars--No RV's--Violators will be towed and impounded immediately"

An Okie and a Texan we're both using the urinal at the saem time. When the Texan finished, he proceeded to the door. The okie noticed that he didn't wash his hands. So he stated

"Ain't cha gonna wash yer hands?"

The Texan turns around and replied...
    "You must be from Oklahoma"
    Okie..."Why yes I am"
Texan..."Your mom and & dad taught you to wash your hands after you pee. Right?"
    Okie..."Why yes they did"
Texan... "Well, my mom and dad taught me to not pee on my hands"

How about speed bumps in the parking lot to slow down the steering wheel holders..
