A company truck should have all its bills paid for by the owning company. There are times when an expense will come up, and the driver should be able to get a Comcheckor something similar from the company. Sometimes the driver will have a company Credit card,or be able to pay with there fuel card.
The driver will have to cover all of his own personnel expenses.

If you lease a truck, or own your own, its almostly all on you.
    Hope this helps, safe miles,
    Larry

:biggrin_25514:If you have business savy, then i would recomend buying your own truck. Its been said on this forum, NEVER, NEVER, lease from the company that you are driving for. They will own you & you will never own the truck.:biggrin_25513:

Yeah, they sell you the truck, dispatch you, and do the bookeeping on top of that! Can you say "gotcha by the gonads?"

As a company driver, I carried company credit cards for fuel and repairs. I carried my own cash for tolls and weigh fees, but was reimbursed when I turned in the receipts. The company had accounts at various commercial hotels and motels.
