Hello everybody I have a few questions I am hopeing can be answered here. I have been very interested in jct for a long time now but have been alittle leary of trying the lease purchase deal. I am a former owner operator who knows how the game works. I would have put my truck on with jct but I am sure as most of you all know most companies today are looking for 5 years or newer I had a 1998 old jbhunt cabover condo I loved the truck and could not find nobody to put it on with. I sold the truck and have been running company for a bit. Can anybody please give me some information? I have read through most of the forum and it seems like there are quite a bit of drivers who are very successful with them. Myself I am a bit of a skeptic and would love to have some more info on it.
I also would like to know if you get the truck that you want or are you stuck with what is left over?

If u can't make it legal then u need to get with dispatch right away. Don't wait til the very last minute Luke some people. Communication is the key
Coldsholder

alan thanks for your quick response, i have heard from a few drivers that they have been told to do the load regardless, but as in most cases this probally due to lack of communication

I appreciate the comeback alanp613.
How long is the lease?
Are there any hidden fees?
If you happen to jump into a truck that you do not want will they let you switch to another one that you do want? -
The lease depends on the truck you get 09-newer is 5 years and a side note for 5k down
There r no hidden charges. All is in the contract
After 90 days if u request a trade they will review how you've been running and how well you r keeping up with ur maintenance escrow. If they approve u can trade for something in the yard u like as long as its an upgrade. Nothing older -
do they have health insurance, and how often can i go home, right now i stay out 18 days then home for 3 or 4, i live in houston, texas

They prefer at least 3 weeks out. In my opinion to be sucessful stay put at least 4-5 weeks then take Friday sat and sun off. Anymore you will come out making a 0 chk or in the hole the following week. Remember you're running a business here not running a company truck where you don't have to worry about anything.
As far as insurance they have supplemental insurance -
