Freakin Diesel APU's are bad enough. For $##$#'s sake... reminds me of Volvo's bright idea to put weed burner exhaust on big trucks back in the early 90's.

 

####, that looks OSHA approved to me. At least the gas can isn't sitting on top of the genset. And Gears get some Baby Moons for your new toy.

 

Caps and covers are on my list, just not at the top of it though....

 

Those Honda's are quiet. Not like some Brigg's POS.

 

It's not the noise that concerns me, it's the carbon monoxide that hangs in the air on a still night. I usually prefer not to wake up dead.

 

Understandable. However, the waking up part wouldn't be much of a concern.

 

Well I run a gas gen and it is quieter than a APU and I would say puts out less carbon monoxide than your idling truck Don't bring a sledge hammer to a gun fight if you see me cause you wouldn't like the out come

 

That's what I did and the #### Yamaha gen took a shait in less than a year, so I went to Harbor freight and bought a 3500 watt gen with 2 year replacement warranty for less than $250 with coupon so far over a year and I think I will need to be replaced just shy of the 2 year mark
