our paper chared double the price of the paper for complaints. I heard that now its up to 5 bucks on Sunday $1.50 paper... Well my manager is an idiot to say the least. He was always on us about following the instructions. I did and still got a complaint because the customer didn't look where it said to put the paper. When I took a pic and showed him he did nothing. Said "we'll change the instructions" not a word about giving me the 3 dollars back that they charged me for the complaint... lol Winter here was bad. We live where we get Lake effect snow, meaning if the lake is not frozen we get pounded with heavy deep snow...
Some people there never got bothered and others (like me) were rode and rode... I quit right at the end of the month which landed the day after my last pay came. He tried to get me to come help cover and I told him if he'd been a bit nicer he wouldn't have this problem. Plus I was friends with the guy that was under him and he accidentally gave me my check...
Most people that do the job need the money bad enough to stay even when ######## are there. I cleaned out my pickup the other day and found 2 garbage bags worth of recycled bags and about 8 bags of rubber bands that I had bought and tossed back there. lol

For us its $2 for a mon-sat(fifty cent paper) paper complaint and $3 for a sunday($1 paper). Quite stupid, but it still pays the bills.
My family is actually originally from PA. Ford City, just south of Kittanning. Still have lots of family there. Was actually planning on moving there until I decided to go for my class a instead. -
did you know Broc Hepler? He's from that area and is a pro mmotocross rider.

Didn't click until I looked him up, nope don't know Broc.

Wiseguy - I hope everything works out for you. Looks like you've got your career plans figured out and are shooting for them. When the going gets rough, remember how badly you wanted the job to begin with...and I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck and keep posting!
wiseguy3501 Thanks this. -
Thanks....I'm definitely ready to go. This week has flown by for me tho, so I don't think the wait is gonna bother me much. Before I know it, I'm gonna be rushing around trying to get everything in order.
Oh well, I've got a week between last day at work and starting day at school. Fun part will be getting off the overnight schedule that I have been on for the last 2 years. Shouldn't be too difficult to do tho. -
I'm to this stage now... lol
On top of the heading to Marshfield part we are moving so that means a whole new bunch of stuff to take care of... lol Next week should be interesting. I'll be on my way a week from this Sunday! -

6 days. I'll be heading out about 6AM on Sunday the 13th! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I will miss the family incredibly, but I need to get this new chapter started! Maybe I'll see you round Rotax!

Well, three weeks away....
I spent the better part of today getting all the essentials that I didn't have. Travel bag, soap box, shampoo container, laundry bag, 2 pairs of gloves, soft laptop briefcase, laptop lock, pens, pencils, highlighters, raincoat, some new towels, flip flops. Pretty much everything that I could think of that I will need at some point or another.
I have to say tho, raincoats are WAY overpriced. Just a super simple rubber raincoat was close to $40. Sadly enough, I stepped it up to a better one for $66.
Anyways, 2 weeks of work left, then a week to just chill. Then off to school.
