New to the site and just wanted to say hello.
I retired in 2006 after 29 years with the California Highway Patrol.
14 of those years I served as a commercial enforcement officer. In 2005 and 2006 I coordinated the Commercial Industry Education Program for CHP's Northern Division. I currently serve as adjunct faculty at the College of the Siskiyous here in Northern California where I instruct traffic safety and hazardous materials response courses.
I have joined this forum for a few reasons:
1. It seems to be a great way to keep a finger on the pulse of the current trends and concerns in the industry.
2. Having read several forums, before deciding to participate in this one, I am impressed with the level heads and useful information available on The Truckers Report.Com.
3. I may be able to help someone out with an answer to a question...especially if someone wants to know how California cows eat the cabbage.
