    dont know if i will need that BIG THING, this attena will get 5 bars from the back of pilots lot. I LOVE THIS THING, next to my wife of course :biggrin_255::biggrin_255::biggrin_255:

    I'm glad I came across this thread. I bought the unit and at home where I was only
    getting 1 bar I'm now getting a full strength signal. I also bought the extension
    wire for the antenna and ran it from where I have my laptop to the window and used
    the suction cup to install it there, made a HUGE difference.:biggrin_25514:

    On the road this thing picks up wifi signals from all over the freaking place. I love it.

    Does this thing work without the software? I run Linux on my laptop, not Windows.
