I'm glad I came across this thread. I bought the unit and at home where I was only
getting 1 bar I'm now getting a full strength signal. I also bought the extension
wire for the antenna and ran it from where I have my laptop to the window and used
the suction cup to install it there, made a HUGE difference.
On the road this thing picks up wifi signals from all over the freaking place. I love it. -
