These "Blitz" are becoming a PITA for State DOT,there is far less interest in actually
"Doing" like there was in the first few.

Driving across I-90, I haven't noticed any increase in inspections. Except in WA there was one scale where they had a lot going on. I don't think a lot of the states have the money this year to pay for the manpower.
-
I had one of my trucks and trailers pass their annual safety, I felt pretty good the only problem was license plate light burnt out on the truck.
I decided to drive it by the scales here in Vineland Ontario off the QEW which are considered as one of the worst scales in Ontario if not in North America.
I never got pulled in; they had at least 10 trucks pulled over. So I decided to drive by at night. There were no trucks in for inspection and I was the only one on the scale and again I never got pulled in.
Next morning I was the first truck over the scale and again I never got pulled in.
From all of our trucks on the road none of them got pulled in, WTF? Yup, I'm not happy!
Knowing my luck I will be pulled in when there is something wrong with a truck, like maybe a burnt out license plate light . -
some states just dont actively participate in the blitz. I remember a couple of years back passing some normally busy scales during the blitz that were not even open for the whole show.

How is everyone doing out there so far with all the DOT"S out there? We have been through a few weigh stations and no problems at all.Saw they had 4 trucks pulled over this morning on I-65 heading to TN..
-
Evidently the "blitz" has been blitzed!
-
Passed through maryland on I-95 there were state troopers every 3 miles stopping trucks on the shoulder! Then in the virginia scales there were at least 4 officers stopping trucks (checking papers, and such) right after you pass the actual scale

I've been running around in Mo for two weeks. Not much happening here. I yanked all the bad lights off the back of the trailer and rewired it so the main three would work just in case.
-
I only noticed the weight station on I40 inbetween Henryetta and Checotah open. But I find it open once a month or so.Ran across a Corporation Commission officer on Hwy59 south of Sallisaw yesterday and that is about it.

Ran midwest and didn't get inspected. Only two open coops.
