I totally agree on the tandems. I turned down a relay because it was behind the D and the guy who delivered it got into a lot of trouble. He "saved time" by not scaling as soon as he left the shipper and it wound up costing him 2 days of sitting around to straighten it out.

thanks for the well wishes guys... I'm busy packing and moving. I recently looked at the information for starting school. I need my CDL permit. I took the tests that incuded Class A and Air Brakes. PA does not have a test called "combinations". Can anyone straighten me out here? On the Pa application it never says anything about combination vehicles. It does have a spot for double and triples, but nothing else. I just don't want to get up to Marshfield and have something be wrong there...

    Thanks!

They should have a combination test as well, unless PA just tacks combination in with the general knowledge....

Did you have combination questions when you took the test?

My hubby got a regular plug in with a boom mic that seems to work just fine (except that he stepped on it the other day). You can get one of those for the mean time.

Hindsy,i would call Roehl also and question this. It would be horrible to have to go back to PA to straighten things out.

I would also try calling your state DMV to see what is required for your state for a CDL class A. If you already have your permit then you have all you need for your license when you come back home.

When flying to Roehl for training, is it better to fly into Milwaukee or Minneapolis? Either airport appears to be about the same distance to Marshfield. Any advice?

I thought there was an airport there in Marshfield you could fly into.

Anyone have experience with the $3360 program? Out of pocket costs $560, they finance the rest. This seems to be more than other transports that finance the entire amount. They also don't provide transportation, albeit a bus. Is the added out-of-pocket expense worth working for Roehl. Also, how long does it take to "work off" the school debt?
