No one thought to go over the driver's planned route and LOOK for signs of an accident???? Torn up guard rails or grass? down trees??? Skids??? something--Seems very strange.....wonder if the driver had family and that maybe no one was really looking?

Considering when we have skid marks or damaged guard rails or it looks odd, our police check it out and the fire and ems are also called to look into it.

I would say no one was looking, including the company.

There was a trucker from Michigan that went missing in NC along I-40 a few years ago. They found him in his wrecked truck almost 6 months later. There WAS signs of a truck wreck, but no one looked for him either.

My point exactly Roadmedic and Roadkill-something very fishy when a tractor trailer goes over a ravine and is found a month later? and consider a month ago in PA the trees and such were not out as much as they are now so you would think someone would have looked over the edge???
Wonder if the company was NOT looking for him?

Pretty country and rugged, it doesn't surprise me that a search didn't find the truck until someone literally stumbled across it.

One reason it's always a good idea to let someone know where you are or plan to be each day. Of course, if nobody is looking for you, it doesn't do much good. Sad ending to this driver's life.

That sure didn't do that trucker from Michigan any good.
He was on a dedicated route and his company knew where the last place he stopped was......
