1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Time is running out. My history doesn't look pretty (recent post in the questions from new drivers category)but I've always been a good, dependable worker. I'm in kentucky but can travel. I don't want this cdl to go to waste.

Living in Kentucky there is a few places I know that will hire you no matter what but you better be desperate to work there.

If you live around Louisville try logans in Shelbyville for local work. pay starts at around 14 and goes up to 18 in the first year. You get time and half pay for anything over 40 HRs, It a delivery job day cabs with 26, 48, and 53 ft trailers and lift gates. You unload bins of linens at Hospitals and such, bins weigh up to 400 lbs but are on wheels. REAL easy to have an accident there because hospitals and nursing homes don't have loading docks and places get real tight around UK and UL.
Remember fresh sheets go in dirty ones come out so if you can't stand the smell of human poop than don't.

OTR check out the Somerset Companies but you REALLY must be desperate both have horrid dot scores and are posted several times on here as being bad places to work

Super Service, Their DriverSEA is 72.04, VehicleSEA is 76.44. Might be skating on thin ice as far a safety goes. ISS-D Score is 98 (red lights!). Many of their OOS violations are for log problems so, if FMCSA's latest rule-making takes effect June 4th, Super Service might be looking at mandatory EOBRs add the 3 deaths there and 34 injury accidents with 88 total resulting in tow the last 30 months only 400 trucks, requires a pulse to get hired

Coretrans is even worse DiverSEA is 75.63 VehicleSEA is 86.75 ISS-D socre is 95 with a recomendation to inspect. Has 2 fatal accidents in last 30 months with a huge one that just went off involving a driver by the last name of Jet in North Carolina. has 111 trucks with 74 moving violationslast 30 months. Read for yourself about the NC accident that left a toddler dead, I heard when they hooked up to the CPU that driver had ran over hours by more than 10
