Heres some history about the FLD: It was in production till late 2003. You can find some with pre-emission Cat C15's and ISX Cummins. At one time the FLD was in production alongside the Columbia, Argosy, and Century Class.
Best looking truck in my opinion is tie between a 780 volvo and T800 KW with air filters on both sides.
Worst looking truck would be the Peterbilt 372.

I will go with you on the 372 how are they going to try and design a areodynamic COE??? Does not make sense to me.
As for the Volvo, I use to drive a 01 770 and that thing was sweet and I like the 780s because of that newer front end. This truck had more power then anything I have ever driven. 575 1850 HO DD with 3.73s and an 18 speed. Talk about a hill climberHaulnHorses and The Challenger Thank this. -
The T800 needs to have dual stacks on the side of the truck not behind the sleeper.

T-800 is still my fav and Lone Star is worst. Looks like PT cruiser. Crumby layout inside.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Whats wrong with the FLD 120? The FLD 120 is the same truck like the Freightliner Classis, only difference is the hood and front wheels are set back 12. We have one FLD 120 in our fleet, never had anyone complain about that truck.
Many small companies or O/O dont take care them so they look like they belong in a scrap yard.
Trucks are what you make them to be. You can have a great looking Peterbuilt 379 however I have seen a few that need lots of TLC.
Here is a sample of a FLD I think it looks great.Attached Files:

Very well said.
Lets not forget the International Prostar too; same crappy interior of that Lonestar.

I like the looks of the Kenworth T2000, I like the smooth aerodynamic lines and painted grills.
Not a fan of Volvo looks. -
First truck I ever drove was a Ford C-series COE....never changed from 1957 to 1990. Ugly looking thing, but so common on the roads in those days you basically forgot how hideous and rough it was. Roadway was a big user of them in the 70's 80's and 90's. They are the twin of the Mack n-series. Basically a cookie cutter cab stamped out for mass production amongst ford and mack. Google it.

My favorite would be the Macks that my old man started out driving in 1967.

The look of the FL Cascadia is growing on me. Not fond of FL trucks, partial to KW and volvo...but i have to say the Cascadia is darn fine looking rig. For 3 years in the 90's i drove a Western Star....nice truck as well.
