If you get the couch you lose some storage in side boxes, about 1000lbs heavier. 86" is the only way to go. So much more room for activities.

1000 pounds heavier? Geezuz, no way in hell I could live with that. Mines a 72 and I've plenty of room, even for those "activities"....(grin)
I'm afraid to ask how much more the 86 co$t$ vs the 72. However if we were talking Petes, I'd likey opt for 70 over the 63. -
I don't know I don't buy new trucks, waste o money. KW owns pete in every possible way.

You got a stripper pole in dat thing Marten??....(grin)

Especially in truck interior, there's no such thing as "enough" or "too much room" as long as sized and weight permits.
When I was running reefer, I chose over "practicality" for the work over ergonomics and desire. I even went to KW dealership to spec out a truck to that particular work / carriers' stringent requirements but they couldn't meet the requirements, always too heavy or too long a wheelbase or just too heavy. I trained students, drove team and solo in my trucks. Over long period of time (more so when you stay out extended amounts of time) I was always running out of "space" but I didn't want to sacrifice $$ (pay load) for luxury even though price wasn't an object. Now, I'm pulling flatbed so I went and got what I wanted (W9 with 86 studio w/ Gen Pac APU). It's pretty heavy, approx 35K + with 3/4 full of (300 GL)) fuel w/ composite Ultility trailer with equipments (chains, binder, tarps, etc...) but barely any personal belongings. -
i love my 86.wouldnt trade it for nothing
