Just make sure that Knight doesn't ding your DAC report. If they say you never completed orientation, someone could mistakenly think it was because of a failed drug test. I would make #### sure that they are not allowed to add anything to your record. They have a propensity to be very vindictive when they don't get what they want!!!
Do not work for knight transportation!!!

Is lying on someone's driving record at an attempt at blackmail an even bigger lie, falsification of a federal document, and against the law? You betcha!
How's that for "an eye for an eye"? -
What the....this post was moved!!! It was originally posted in the positive section, lol! Come on guys, don't you agree that this post just reeks of awesome positiveness? We can't survive off of negativity alone, LOL!!!
Dna Mach Thanks this. -
it's totally positive! i'm positive knight transportation blows the lid off of ALL the small sized carriers out there! you can't beat being paid a super high rate of $.31cpm.

Oh geeze, thank you Jimdri! I really needed that laugh. I am sure that everybody who reads it got a chuckle out of it, but to REALLY appreciate it you have to have been a driver for Knight!
Dna Mach Thanks this. -
I worked for Knight for 3 yrs before becoming an overseas contractor never had them tell me that but also know who david is he aint real bright was a dm b4 the saftey guy but after everything was said and done usually brought home anywhere from 700 to 1200 a week but they knew they could count on me to run hard and get the loads there on time almost all the time so i guess it is just how you plan your day out and every trucking compny has their issues some worse than others and knight aint no different in that respect my main issue with them was trailers

and there pay scale is stupid. .31 cpm to .40 cpm. the more you run the less you make, what is this crap!
Ya, making more per mile for shorter runs under 500 miles, what a bumber.
I guess you did not know that unlike many carriers, Knight pays you more for shorter runs under 500 miles because they can often get better freight rates for them. I guess you can go work for a carrier that pays the same for all miles and pockets the higher rates.
I think with your lack of logic or knowing and agreeing with a company's pay scale before going to orientation, you should maybe keep things simple and find something other to do then driving a truck.
Now can we have some posts that actually point out something bad about a company other then paying you more. -
Lowest pay I made with them was 37.5 cpm and shorter runs were. 42.5 (they must have lowered it). I bought my own truck and leased it on with them, lowest I make now is. 90cpm and shorter runs are 1.20 per mile PLUS fuel surcharge on top of that. My truck payments are 200 a week (not to knight). If you drive for knight, get the right dispatcher, that's the key! I've given them almost 6 years or so. That's my two cents.
West coast has the best freight, its hard to find happy knight drivers east of the Rockies.
