Looks like manifold and the ECM tuning from pdi is the best combinacion

again, the only places to get a manifold for a C-13 is pittsburgh power or full tilt. there are a some other places that offer them too. But they all come from Full Tilt.

Gerardo did you get the manifold?
I have seen you asking for shops and shops prices and you live in one or probably the cheapest place to work on trucks Miami.

If you need any info of shops in Miami let me know through this site, I live in the Keys and go to Miami for all my works.

    Here we go Gerardo:

Hi Power diesel (305) 471 4497 this is probably the best for me if I can get Armando (the owner) to work on my truck or his brother Raul, Los lengua liza, good shop, my only problem is they are always too busy and a little more expensive but worth it.

Now to swap parts like manifold , injectors, clutch, tranny, and even over haul, Lima Services, they are affordable honest hard working people, talk to Juanito, he is the owner (305) 863 3773 ,South River Drive,

or go next door to Lima,Carlos Veloz, I don't have their number now , every body in Medley knows Carlos, tell him that Eddy from Los Cayos sent you, good people, my mechanic there is Jorge, I try to get him to work on my truck all the time, if he is busy I'll tell Carlos that I will come back when he is not busy and right away he goes OK bring it in, I can't believe I don't remember their number, I jumped in the water the other day with my cell phone and lost all the numbers I had, but I will get their number tomorrow.

Now can you share the number of the Michelin place, I'm going to need two 385 22.5 in a couple of moth and want to go back to Michelin's, I'm done with this Sumitomo's, they make my KW bounce like a basket ball.

You will never get the price of the manifold back in fuel savings, stock manifold is fine, maybe ceramic coat it to prevent cracking. Buy an ECM program with advanced timing, that will save you a lot of fuel.

Not to sound like a salesman... but... I've seen .4 tenths with mine, constent. I drive roughly 100,000 miles a year.

$3 fuel cost with 5.5 MPG(average)- thats 18,182 Gallons a year, or just over $54,500 a year in fuel cost.

$3 fuel cost with 5.9 MPG(new average)- thats 16,949 Gallons a year, or $50,800 a year in fuel cost.

thats a cost difference of 3700 bucks!

I'm happy with mine, and I've had it a year. Going on a second year.

I bought mine for 1500. $1200 more in my pocket this year. Only going to be more this next.

Feel free to ask me more questions.

I have seen a modded manifold make a C16 burn cleaner so I would think the fuel would have improved. The manifold was modifed factory rather than aftermarket, the engine was a stock C16 except for good fuel settings, we removed the turbo after 3 months and found the manifold to be white rather than black on the inside so since black soot is unburnt fuel I would guess the manifold is making the turbo come on boost faster making it burn cleaner and therefore more fuel efficient. The owners say it comes on boost real strong, cant compare before and after as the truck has started a new job but he claims this C16 pulls hills 1 to 1.5 gears better than the 600 Cummins that was on the job before it and the C16 uses 50L less fuel for the same trip.
This is one of only two I've done, hoping to do some more acurate testing in the future.
