When you're a native FL cracker and you get up north where it's cold, yea I'm not ashamed to wearing gloves. I refuse to wear mittens tho, I can't text with those on.:biggrin_25523:

Made me think of the guy that worked at the advance auto that chased me out the door a couple years back. I was in there buying some tuneup stuff and I look over at this guy and he has one glove on and is punching away at the cash register. (Probably had two but removed one to work the register)Well, not trying to hurt feelings but in a harmless way I can be a wise guy. I turned to my son and said in a low tone "micheal Jackson" He went ballistic. I had my back turned to him and was 10 feet away but he heard and proceeded to curse me and follow me right out the door. At this point I turned and stood my ground and said, what? So your not a fan. Tell you what...Go get back up in that store before I own it and fire your #####. What I did was not cool. What he did was really not cool. Funny if that was another ten years ago I would have done it different. I would have knocked him out. .....If you are reading this now and are the guy AND a truck driver now, let me buy you a cup of jesus juice! sorry, coffee, no hard feelings:biggrin_25522:
You want to wear gloves when you drive? Go ahead if it makes you feel like your a better driver for it, by all means but please at least wear two.

Try putting that question out on the CB sometime; You'll get some really great answers, especially in a big truck stop.:biggrin_25523:

I suggest not to wear gloves while driving as if your hands get slipped or the glove gets torn at a wrong time then your are totally screwed :)

Finally at least a sensible response...
And no, I dont have a SPINNER on the wheel. I was only asking since years ago I owned a pair and they had this sorta like 'gel' in the palm (think motorcycle gloves) and it helped reduce pressure points on the wheel.

Actually, there is a web site that sells $$ gloves that were designed to reduce vibration and fatigue:

    http://www.qwinerveprotector.com/ProfDrivingGlove.html

..The fact that I like to wear gloves (not glove but gloves) when driving, doesn't mean I'm queer or like 'cleaning-the-attic' when wearing them.

Some guys wear sneakers. Some wear boots and of course some wear flip-flops or nothing when driving. It's all a personal preference and I started this thread in the hope that someone out there would give me a decent answer.

    Ooops. :biggrin_2556:
