Handdark sorry if you got ruffled we were all just having fun with it and if you were hurt, sorry. Sometimes we as men have to take a ribbing I guess you passed. You stayed cool. I do have a question though.........what pressure points are you referring to? A motorcycle musceling the handlebars yes but a truck with power steering I don't see the need unless it is a volvo and you hit the horn alot in traffic as the city horn AND the highway are both on the wheel. I hate that no pull cord for the air horn......it's unamerican. Anyway good luck to you in your quest to find the perfect gloves!:biggrin_25514:

if I lay my wrists on the wheel around the 7pm and 5pm position, sometimes I find myself perhaps laying on the wheel more than I should. If I hold the wheel any other way, it isnt an issue.
Maybe this isnt an issue to begin with and was a bad idea overall.....

I'm not trying to look like Billy Big Rigger for sure...

    Just an aside here.

The "chain drive wallet" actually had a good reason for it. Back in "the day" the seats were considerably different than they are today. Mostly hard vinyl they seldom had a "full" back on them..... usually just a pad from just below your shoulders to your mid-back. In the course of a run that seat a standard "hip pocket" wallet could work it's way out and drop thru the space between the seat and the "back". PITA to get halfway home and realize your wallet was laying on the floor of the truck, especially if you ran "slip- seat" and your wallet is now on it's way to............. with the other driver.

Thus was born the chain wallet.

Maybe add a leather mini skirt and leather thigh high boots and you'd have quite the outfit...

He'd probably look a little funny in it though.:biggrin_25524:
