I do have a personal reason to not want to haul it. At age 17 I almost died from drinking too much. For 3 days I was delirious with 105+ fever. On the third day I asked the Lord to help me and he did. The fever broke and I'M
ALIVE today. I don't believe that the Lord Jesus Christ would want me to deliver something that will hurt so many people.

P.S. Just because something is Legal doesn't make it right.

I hear ya man. Me, I stopped hauling leftist liberal democrats. They too hurt so many people, mostly hard working taxpaying Americans.

Seriously tho, I doubt Christ would hold it against ya if you took a load of beer, not everyone abuses to the point of death like you did, but hey whatever floats your boat.

You might also not want to haul aluminum, aluminum cans, plastic, glass, bottles, paper, cardboard for recycling. These might end up in containers for alcohol, boxes for 6-packs,bottle caps and so on.
The LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST might also have a problem if you hauled a reefer and hauled meat. Red meat contributes to high blood pressure ,or so I have been led to believe, and high blood pressure kills many people.
You might want to avoid also ,hauling canned foods. The added salt and sugars in these products are harmful to GOD'S children.
Whichever carrier you decide to go with, make sure also that they do not haul cigarettes or any other tobacco products. These are notorious for doing harm to GOD'S children.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavours.

P.S. I agree with you that just because something is legal does not make it right. Alcohol in all its forms and manifestations is A SIN,AN ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST , is UNRIGHTEOUS and should be prohinited.

P.S. Of course the above paragraph does not apply to the WINE (a form of alcohol) that THE MOST RIGHTEOUS LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST made from water in one of his earlier miracles. That was RIGHTEOUS ,GODLY & DIVINE alcohol. Or maybe it was just grape juice.

May the grace of the MOST RIGHTEOUS AND EXALTED LORD AND SAVIOUR AND SOON TO RETURN KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS JESUS CHRIST, and HIS FATHER THE KIND AND LOVING GOD BE WITH YOU ALL.

    Thank you.

No doubt. I went to Catholic schools my entire life and the ridiculous scandal the priests ended up in makes me shake my head - and no, I'm certainly not a plaintiff in any lawsuit so no comments are needed.. haha.. I can remember Priests telling me I was gonna go to hell because I burned one or got my groove on prior to being married then I see them on CNN involved in the controversy - really, the same ones that were telling me this in high school were shown on CNN and all the other outlets.

To each his own, but that made me very skeptical of overly religious people with good reason. It always seems the hardcore bible beaters have the worst skeletons in the closet and nothing burns me more than hypocrisy - tell me I'm going to burn in hell for making it with my girlfriend while you're ruing young lives or swindling people for money as the Baptist preachers seem to do.. Gimme a break..

That said, I like Catholic traditions and would raise my kids as Catholic's, but would never force it on them once they hit a certain age - the same way my parents raised me..

I applaud your moral convictions! :smt023

FWIW - Off the top of my head, I'd say Covenant would be most sympathetic to your desire not to haul alcoholic beverages - only because the founder(s) are supposed to be Christians.

Its your life to do with what you want. How ever there are two problems with your "convictions".

    You were underage.

    Ever hear of moderation?

A couple nights ago a friend got married. At the reception in the space of about 3 hrs I consumed ONLY 4 adult beverages.
In no way shape or form can that be considered out of control.
I even had a designated driver.
The reason the law has underage drinking laws is to hopefully prevent what you described happening. Hopefully

as an adult the drinker has enough self control to not drink themselves into alcohol poisoning.

Chapter and verse to back this up. From the new testament.
Otherwise this is only your personal conviction. One that is your right to have
thanks to the men and women who have fought and died to keep this country free.

When you can find some free time out of your busy schedule, look up the meaning of the word SARCASM.

You might also want to avoid companies who haul for drug stores and pharmacies. That cough syrup and mouthwash often contains alcohol. Jesus might not be pleased.
