Hanadarko, you can find the gloves you referring to at most motorcycle shops or I guess on line. I have a pair that have the gel or something in them that I use when riding my motorcycle only. I bought mine at a Harley dealer. Also I am glad you have thick skin and a good sport.

Hate to drop this on you but there is an American Van Lines driver that looks great in leather xtra short mini skirt and thigh high boots and white lace bussea top and leather vest from the back, but when you see the front you realize she needs a shave! BADLY! Or a real long laser treatment! ROFLMFAO!!

Not to mention the Coventant cross dressing driver that is so underweight that I look fat standing next to him! This dude is but fugly! Especially in spandex!

Now I gotta go wash my brain out with bleach again to get those two pictures out of my head!

Hey now, my britney spears headset is the only way i can comfortably sit on hold with dispatch all day while i'm driving and have them actually be able to hear me when they finally answer the phone 3 hours later!!

Hey, i look way better than that in my fingerless gloves!! I love how he looks like he's pickin his nose too.

Hey, i like my chain drive wallet. But I also ride a motorcycle and it's nice to not stop for fuel and realize my wallet fell on the street 3 hours ago...

Of course i've had that wallet for longer than that. At the time i was hanging out with some lesbians and it looked really hot on them...

Hey i used to be a deviant too...and i was #### good lookin! Still am, in a different way....

Ok, i never dressed anywhere near like what you're talking about, lol.

I accidently walked in the womens room in a loves today. I walked in, no urinals, wtf? walked across the hall...and hey, what the hell? the mens room was three times the size of the womens? ROFL...

Anyhow...there is this gay werner driver that is a total valley girl. He's on the "zone 7" run, which is basically ontario border crossings and east coast crap. IIRC his hair was brown, pink, and blonde, he dressed normal but he had that valley girl voice goin on. And I was inside the c-store at Truck Town Terminals in Milton, ON, and he walks in and the cashier was like...."OH THERES MY PRINCESSS!!!!" ...I turned around and look and had to run out of the store laughing. I'm OK with gay, but "theres my princess"? Honestly i heard his voice and i was expecting a pretty girl to be behind me. rofl......

i'd heard about the guy before i met him, but i figured the stories were just a rumour...

Admittdely, i did not talk to him. I would've said hi but i was kind of embarrased after laughing. He probably thoughti was laughing at him. :(

Man, this topic has gone awry in a hurry. :biggrin_2555:In all fairness to hanadarko and his quest for the perfect gloves to drive with maybe we should help out a little and come up with more suggestions. If Rocky Marciano drove a truck he would wear boxing gloves maybe. I believe he was serious and and in the vein of the transporter fame really want to "get into it" driving his truck, wearing gloves. Well this is still America and hey who knows it could catch. Gloves will be offererd instead of sign on bonus by the big leauge companies. t could happen. Let us at least try to be understanding.
and not condescending. Can I get an amen?:biggrin_2556:

Indeed. It's ok. I gave up pages ago in this thread...I guess I will leave the Michael Jackson gloves in the Petro where they belong...

If your having problems with your hands while driving and think gloves will help,...By all means ware em',...

You might want to leave them in the truck when your stop to avoid the ribbing your taking here,...

Well with that in mind, yesterday I noticed my hands were rather sweaty driving. (AC is broke...) - but if I took them off the wheel for a moment (one at a time of course) - they did dry off - but gloves sorta prevent that and keep a good grip on the wheel.

    So I dunno... :biggrin_25524:

They are just having some fun! I drive in the cement industry and golves are a must! I buy those cheep Wells Lamont gloves at Wally World and for $2.50, they do what I need them to do and out last the more expensive ones. As far as driving gloves? I guess that is why I wear gloves when unloading my tanker so that I don't need them when I am not. Try those gloves the skateboarders use, I think they are mesh nylon.

They keep talking about chain drive wallets? How about chain drive hearing protection?!

I used to climb radio towers for a living. 12 to 14 hrs of going up and down, around and around, wrench here, etc., hands would start to hurt and cramp a bit. Bought the rock climbing style gloves w/the 3/4 fingers. Even wore them driving once I came down. Don't know that they really did anything for me while driving but my mind said it was helping.
