I'm trying to figure out how to do it "hands free"

 

Blackw900, I wasn't trying to be mean or rude when I asked her the question.
I rememeber her posting about her being asian and she kinda reminds me of my wife when she gets riled up over things.

My wife is Thai and when gets mad look out and she will fight for what she believes is right, just like any other person with back bone

A month or so after I met my wife we were at a night club and some guy about my size grabbed one of my wifes friends in a very inapropriate way and my then future wife all 5'2" and 100 pounds of her jumped up and socked the guy in the mouth knocking out his 2 front teeth and putting him on the floor...

I knew right then that, That was the girl for me!

I was right!

 

That answers why he's in a truck instead of at home with his wife. Women were created from the rib of the man, not the other way around. You are here as our companion, when you start the I'm equal crap you just chase your men away. There will be a woman out there to make him feel like a man again. Just my opinion.

If you are Christian, Islamic or Jewish, this is your belief. And you are entitled to it. However...if this is how you believe, then you will understand the following: woman was not made from the skull of the man to be queen over him. Neither was she made from the heel of his foot to be trod upon. She was, in fact, made from his rib to stand beside him as an equal. In your belief, God saw man was lonely, and therefore made him a companion...neither a servant, nor a boss. But that is the belief set forth in the Torah...which is also the basis for the Koran and the Holy Bible.

But I hold none of these beliefs.

Just be very happy you don't live on or near the Mescalero reservation. The Mescalero way is the women own the property, run the government and hold the traditions. Women are more often the medicine carriers than men. Women make most of the big decisions in the household. There was a reason for this: Men were always out getting themselves killed hunting or picking wars. It was protection for the women to have ownership of the household property. And the men are perfectly happy with the arrangement because it frees their time up to do what they want to...which usually involves risk of some sort...as long as the women don't need them around for some purpose, like, oh, I don't know...breeding? Because on the Rez, that's about what most of the men are good for.

Oh, and in the Plains tradition? White Buffalo Woman is one of, if not the most important guardian spirit. In fact, most of the, for lack of a better term, "spirits" are women spirits...which is why we speak of the Grandmothers when bringing them up.

I'd say don't annoy Ms. butterfli73. My money'd be on her. And I'd be backing her up in this one.

 

What I just don't understand is why is your husband quiting and taking a bus home? If the mentor says there's to be a meeting......why not wait and see what happens?

If the mentor has been this horrible (and I'm not saying the mentor hasn't done this stuff) why believe him? Why let him get away with this stuff? Why not see what happens at the meeting, address the issue, and follow the protective procedures that Swift has put in place. Really......a great many people are slamming Swift when Swift has specific procedures for a student to use if a mentor is not behaving properly AND this student in question did NOT use those procedures.

It's sort of like a woman complaining when she gets pregnant but didn't use protection when she played patty-cake with the 7th fleet.

Now, butterfli......I want the absolute best for your husband. I hope he doesn't quit......I hope he goes to the meeting......I hope he reports the mentor and I hope he has a happy and profitable career with Swift. I hope you have a much better week too.

 

Just to be correct, I have not slammed either party SWIFT or husband only attempted to give her an insite as to all the crap he probably has to deal with.
