Hopefully that will go thru and put an end to the LP scams and get rid of some of the 1099 crooks too!

There are other industries that are just as bad. Look at the way Fed Ex gets by with their independents.
I have seen it many times in the accounting profession. You tell the owner about it and they immediately get upset, because it will cost them money. They will even pay under the table. -
Will probably just result in more toothless and unenforced regulation ...
The spineless government will fold when they see cost increase projections in the construction and transportation industries.
Just look at the campaign finance reform legislation, which will have plenty of loopholes and waivers for the most powerful industries. -
And the ICC is going to look into lumper abuses too! Oh that's right, then they dissolved the ICC. I'll believe it when I see it, but since the real reason they are pursuing this is to get more tax revenue, perhaps there will be some change.
