    Well...he is bummed. Missed a question on airbrakes and failed. Now he hasta wait til Swift has a spot he can fill to try again. He beating himself up over it. I am trying to tell him lots of people have missed and gone on to pass with no problem, but he really is bummed.:biggrin_25513:

    That is too bad wydfur :biggrin_2557: My husband didnt pass his first time either. That pretrip here is brutal. And your right, not passing the first (or second) time isn't all that unusual. Out of curiosity, did he take his test in Spokane?

    No just once.. 4 of them went up to test only 1 passed. I do know of others who failed twice so it isnt that unusual.
    I was told that sometimes swift tests in Pasco and the tester there is a bit easier with the pretrip. My husband also took a yard stick when he went the second time to spokane. He used it to point out the things as he went thru the pretrip. Think this helped him stay focused.

    WOOT!! He is going back Monday!
    He thought he would hafta wait longer and is very happy he is getting back so soon.
    Have heard from quite a few people who say Spokane is rough on the CDL test.
    Heard Idaho only deducts a point if ya miss an airbrake question, is this correct?

    He is finally off with Mentor. Met mentor, named Victor. He seems really nice and calm to boot!
    I am already lonely, having trouble with my job also. Been with the company for 19 years and they are trying to edge me out. But they are being real jerks about it. Sorry to vent.:biggrin_25510:
