I've have been off the road for over a year now and now I am looking to get back on the road. I ordered my DAC report from HireRight.com and got my 10 year MVR from my local DMV. Well my DAC report says nothing about me ever driving for PAM (Penny a Mile..lol) transportation and my MVR doesn't list an accident that I had when i was with them which resulted in my termination of that crappy company. I want to apply for other companies but dont know if there are any other places where the companies can find information about me. Any suggestions or advice ya'll can give me.

    You already know the answer.

You just want us to tell you it's ok to lie !!!!!!

Falsifying an application, especially on a job you really want, will most likely come back to bite you on your butt !!!!

    Good Luck !!!

I didnt say that I am going to lie on an application. I never do. I told the truth when i got called in to the PAM terminal to state my case as to what happen at the accident. Safety moron over there called me a liar and said he doesn't know one police officer that would lie on a police report. I sued PAM for it and won cause police video told a different story plus a secuirty camera at a gas station caught the whole thing on tape. So I don't know if PAM deleted any record of me working for them and not showing on my DAC report. So any more advice!

#1 Don't worry if there is nothing on DAC! PAM probably didn't report to them when this happened. Nothing on that bottom feeder reporting agency is a GOOD thing! As for putting it down on an application I would as your future company after wasting good money on the DAC report will call PAM the old fashioned way for a verbal inquiry on your status when employed by them so put that information on the application with a memo on the accident.

And never trust a reply that tells you no about reporting something that is a record at any company!

I contacted PAM and they're giving me the run around. transfering me to different peoplewho are not picking the phones. I contacted a driver advocate from DACfix.com and pulled my DAC report and all other reports and he told me that PAM can say anything they want and to just take my DAC report with me and a recent MVR to orientation to prove that I'm a safe driver incase PAM blurs out that im a Bad Driver. Anyone had a similar problem like mine?

I had a rollover accident in march of 2008 but on my mvr it says there was no accident and it also says that it was'nt a commercial vehicle which are both not true. Regardless of all that I havent been able to get a driving job since because the company I was with when I had the accident tells the prospective companies about it and I get turned down. I just wonder how long I have to wait to get hired again because of this accident. It has been 2 and a half years now which is too long.

things stay on a DAC from 7 to 10 years. you can get things removed from your DAC, if the company you had worked for goes out of business. this HAS happened to me, and all you need to do is contact DAC, they will investigate, and if indeed the company you worked for is no longer in business, then all entries made by that company will be removed.
