that really sucks

 

no more trash talk about weekend dispatch!!! They gave me a 2200 mile load for 4 days. Better than what weekday dispatch gives me!

 

thats good for you but i will never say anything good about weekend dispatch for weekend i didnt have to cuss them out cause didnt have to talk to them

 

Sorry to hear bout your problems and hope they get resolved soon. Must be that time tho for trks to break down. Xmission was going out of mine and was able to limp it in to the KW in OKC for my HT. Checked on it yesterday and was almost finished with it. Had to wait until today for Eaton to open again so that they could see if there was anything Eaton wanted to do.

actually they are the only ones who get back to me on QC within 30 minutes. But then this 22 mile load they gave me must be cursed...
Today, reefer decided that it was tired of working and quit this morning about 2 1/2 hrs away from my 99 which Sigma Foods forgot to write my appt time on the BOL. So I thought since there was no appt specified, i'd roll in at about 0530. well when I woke up my reefer temp was at 54 and supposed to be 34. So I ran down to 99 with the reefer throwing codes and explained to the whse supervisor my situation and he got me unloaded ASAP. So im trying to coordinate getting the reefer repaired with otr and dispatch and got addresses to 3 Thermo king dealers finally went to the one in Allentown, PA. SUPRISE!!! they are a week behind in fixing reefers with only 1 tech in the shop but they fit me in so I can make my 2100 appt here at Samuel Adams.

I check in and back in to the door they told me to and.... SUPRISE!!! one product im supposed to be carrying isnt ready and they are going to start making it at 2200. Looks like Im going to be getting some detention on this load since Sam Adams was the one who rescheduled my 1030 appt to 2100 and its still not ready!

Just add this one to my LONG string of bad loads. I think I'm the scapegoat here. If there is a problem with a load, somehow I almost always end up with it... just ask DM, he'll tell you...lol

 

Had a reefer go south, but the green light stayed illuminated! Bad compressor. Saved the load of steaks for Safeway, but had to move the load twice by pallet jack. Central did not even thank for the extra work much less pay.

 

Bootlegger, u were N of us that night, we stayed in Des Moines to wait out the STORM"S". We had just paused for the first one coming through IL when the tornado watch was announced, then we came into IA and there were 2 storms on either side of us so we decided to wait it out. So much drama going on over the tornado watch that i couldn't sleep.....hell, this Hawaii born girl knows NOT A THING about tornadoes so i wish whoever is pissing mother nature off would back the heck down.
On the flip side??....a tornado would make some awesome foto's for my facebook page....hehehe stay safe out there.

 

Man..ya'll can have the tornado's.. I just want left alone.. I've been dodging bad weather since febuary.. I'm 100 percent blessed.. Anyways.. I'm sittin in my favorite town, streetsboro,oh.. Man I love this place.. Good food, shopping and awesome hotels.. All within walking distance. Gotta go down to massillon to load by 1300 tom.. And ya.. If there's a crap load.. 90 percent chance.. Mikes gunna have em... Lol.. So where is everyone at?

 

In NC headin to Allentown PA. Hopefully head west from there. Need to fnd that mythical place called Calyfornia.

At least I don't get Mikey's loads, I just find the crappy trailers.
