Most of us that live in Tucson find that show to be a pain in the ### :yes2557: There are some cool things though just not worth the traffic hassles

:biggrin_25526: I talked with an Atlas Van Lines driver once years ago and he told a story about hauling an elephant for the circus. He said when he went across one of the scales he got pulled around back for being heavy on the rears. He then said when he got around back he opened the trailer and poked the elephant with a stick to get it to move forward some and they let him go on his way.

my uncle has been a OTR driver for many years, and his most interesting was the turret housing for a Navy destroyer being built in Bath Maine.. he delivered it there, and dropped my name, since I had recently commissioned the USS Momsen DDG 92 that was also built there.. they gave him a great tour of the ship yard, and signed a lithograph of the ship who's turret he had delivered..
