You accessible to a truck? (Think Ryder, Penske, etc.) Something to consider. Here in PA you can take the skills test and keep the CDL provided you pass, which I'm surmising you'd be able to do no problem. Don't give up that quickly, there's options available buddy...:biggrin_25525:

Well aware of the options. I was told that if I wanted to keep the CDL I would have to take the road test. I can't afford it right now. Good thing is if I ever decide to get it again, I can at anytime. I don't have to wait any period of time. Maybe I will just apply with a decent company and see what happens. Haven't used the CDL in 5 years anyway. Doesn't help that I have 3 accidents 2 in the last year. Any ideas? lol BTW Guitar Man, I have no access to a truck.

With 3 accidents, 2 in the last year, I doubt I'd give you access to my truck to take that test. It sounds like you've found something else you're happier with anyway.

Yeah I agree. Time to find a new line of work, behind a desk or a drive thru window

I transferred from the construction field and went to swift orientation. I could not believe the bull #### they were trying to feed me,and after doing some research i come to the conclusion that this company are a bunch of thieves and liars. I will never ever work for this piece of #### company. Let alone give them a chance to touch my DAC i hear they like screwing people lives up. Nope nope and hell no. Swift sucks.

Well you did give them a chance to touch your DAC, you went to orientation and then left, wouldn't be suprised if they hit you with quitting under dispatch or any other of the sorts, and if you do continue in your career you better list Swift as a past employer, they will show up on your DAC whether you want to believe it or not. You should have done your research first instead of going through with orientation and then deciding you do not want to work for Swift. Understand DAC a little more before you go thinking there's no trace of you ever being affiliated with Swift.

You were able to make judgment on someone else word and not your own experience? Cool.

I'm not sure but I thought you had to receive a paycheck in order for them to qualify as an ex-employer and mess up your DAC?
