My company works closely with Bay and Bay. The owners are friends and go way back.

From what Bay and Bay drivers tell me, it is a good company to work for. They have both O/O and company drivers. Their main office is in Rosemount, MN and they have a few drop lots around the country. They use qualcomm and the bulk of their operations is dry van. The have some dry bulk tankers, too. They run 48 states but concentrate on Minnesota to the NE and SE and back to Minnesota, which is 1000-1200 average run.

Most of their trucks are FL Columbias, usually 435 hp, 10 sp, with either Detroit Series 60 or Mercedes, 3.58 ratio. Some have 13 sp, some have DD15 and some have 3.42 ratio here and there. Obviously, the O/Os run pretty much whatever they want within reason.

They also own Andreson Truck Repair Service and D&T Trucking, which is a small reefer carrier based out of Afton, MN. All three companies have been around for a while and are very well respected in the Twin Cities area. I doubt that they hire students, but I could be wrong there.

That's what I know about them, from the outside looking in. Maybe their current or former drivers may have a different perspective. I think they have about 300 trucks or so, so you may not ever hear from one of their drivers, so I hope this helps.

Dont work for Bay and Bay or D and T Trucking , neither my husband or a few others we know have had good experiences here.Especially if you enter the o/o lease purchase program. When you have the truck almost paid off they find a way to get out of the lease, they have a truck they can release and you are standing there with nothing.

A close freind of mine worked for Bay and Bay didn't have very much good to say about them when he left....I remember him saying dispatch and planning was pretty bad, he banged heads with some chick named Jackie pretty regular..Anyway this dude probably one of the most professional drivers I've ever met if he says stay away then I would...

My buddy had to recover a couple of lease trucks that were dumped off somewhere and left....That says a lot about the lease program over there..

oyeah, that sounds about right. Its sad that truckers work their tails off to provide for their families and companies like this do their best to rip you off.
