What happened to the O/P? Drop a line like this and keep the rest of us fidgeting about it?

Wow, I am sorry to hear this. In 06 they were suppose to be going strong with 1500 trucks and had order a lot of new trucks for lease.

They had a lot of good drivers

Does anybody know WHY they went out of business

I would like to think it was jason's fault, however heavy haul was such a small part of Arrow, I doubt it could of made much differance

I started 3/04 and leased from them 4/05

Before going to heavy haul I was part of a group of 25 trucks going to rifle, CO

When I got there at first the road looked rough, however there were many tracks for other trucks so we headed up the rd

about a mile up the rd, I have to stop

It was snowing, and the truck in front of me had spun the tire off the rim, and the truck in front of him had tried backing down and was stuck hanging over the side of the hill.

There where 2 rds with the same name and we were on the summer road
The front driver had been there since the day before and had sent the message on qual comm, but nobody forward it to the rest of us

I gave both drivers some food and water , graped some chains and safety tape and waked down to the rd to block off this road so the other 22 trucks would not get stuck on the hill

The two trucks in front of me had those snow cables and the grader could not pull them, so I gave each driver 2 snow chains and we were able to get to the top of the hill

by the time I got to the top of the hill the other 2 drivers were gone

When I contact dispatch they said they did not ask for my help and it was not their problem

When I got back to Tulsa, I spoke with the head lady on the dispatch floor and asked her if it would of been better to have to tow 22 more trucks off that road, the owner set me out to equipment and replaced everything, and thanked me for helping out. . . so yes, I thought they were a great company

Also, Jason blames me for much of the heavy haul having to allow pets . . .for that, I am happy to take credit for

This poster makes no sence to me. First he states that he was happy until he switched to heavy hauling loads, a statement that would suggest that he just recently did so as he just recently posted this (6/22). But then when someone informs him that this company has been out of business for 6 months now, he is stunned to hear the news. Hmmm... wonder if he's still running around with the same load for 6 months wondering why dispatch hasn't responded to any of his messages. Makes you wonder where the truths are in an individuals post.

You are not being fair. He posted that information and then came back with a detailed post of when he had worked for Arrow. His last year there was 2006.
Why try to over analyze the post and question the validity of other post without warrant?
I say that this post of yours is bogus, because you did not read the entire thread and burst into a decision unnecessarily. If this guy had asked you for help, in this thread, you would have probably ignored him and not have posted a word.
If I was not an active member of this site, I too would probably not have known about Arrow's closing.

Thank you Sir and thanks for having me . I will keep looking here and making contacts. This seems like the most sensible approach to finding a job these days.
    Thanks so much
