California welfare cards can be used in many casino ATMs

It's reprehensible to me that our government is oblivious to what is a common problem with our welfare system.

"That anyone would use taxpayer money for ANYTHING other than its intended purpose" is the most naive and stupid thing I've heard in a while from an elected official. He needs to get out more where the real people live.

Many people don't know this but, per capita WA and OR have far more nut cases than CA does. Just so you know.

 

I find that quote hilarious coming from an official whose entire job description is misappropriating taxpayer money.

So lets spend millions on an investigation,spend hours on press conferences and debates,and then lets make the ATM machines at the casino not able to pay out for these cards.

Then the headlines will read....

7-11's across the street from casino's atm machines swamped with welfare cards.
or Bank down the street from casino's see huge increase in welfare card use at their atm machines.

It seems to me,they should have just shut up,seen who was using the cards at the casino's,then removed that person from welfare,or charged them with welfare fraud.

 

Hey... I've got an idea! How about we get rid of welfare altogether? You know... make people responsible for their own #### selves. You don't work or contribute, you don't eat. You don't work or contribute, the kids you shouldn't have had in the first place, die of starvation. Pretty simple, eh?

 

How about instead of welfare.....anyone who is able-bodied can serve in the clean-up of the gulf.....
