I think you get my drift. Steam is great stuff. Dangerous as Hell if not piped correctly . Got my 1st taste of high pressure steam at Miller Brewery in FTW. There was pinhole leak and that crap is invisible. Cut and burned a guy pretty bad. Nothing fatal but happened so quick.

I posted a picture of a big ol' oversize rig earlier this morning in the "18-Wheelers" section... thing must have had 100 wheels on it, not including those of the tractor(s) used to pull it. :biggrin_25523:

I was just wondering how the diesel bears are gonna scale that thing...and how long it would take them to inspect it if they wanted to be jerks about it.

How much is the permit for that? :smt107

I may be wrong, but I'd bet the don't have to worry about that. They probably were DOT inspected before they set out. And they are probably escorted by either DOT or other LE.

Most rigs that size are escorted by troopers as well as pilot vehicles...

High pressure? 4200 psi at economizer inlet, and 3600psi throttle pressure, 1000 degree superheat.
Lots of fun looking for a leak!!!:biggrin_25525: No problem at all hearing it!!

That was the problem. No one was looking for it and the noise of bottling line masked it to outside contractors. Once the guy was injured all the millwrights and other maintenance folks shut it down quick.
