I'm trying to figure out the pay scale at W/S. I understand the cpm. But I'm inquiring about the extra stuff.
I have been reading the posts and So far I have read if you bump a dock you get $5.00. Then I read (excluding the first and last stop) you get $20.00 for the extra stops. Is this in addition to the $5.00? Or does something else play in the equation, like actually back into a dock vs unloading from the trailer to the ground?
How about unloading. Do they pay extra if you unload yourself and if so how much?
Layover is $50.00 after 24hrs. Do they pay detention pay? And if so when does that kick in?
Also you get safety and fuel savings bonuses, that sounds good as well.
It seems to me that even though the cpm may not be as competitive as other companies the other small stuff adds up that can give you a fairly nice check.
I am scheduled to start at W/S in August. I'm excided and ready to hit the road..... As soon as I finish school.
Thanks guys.
Trying to make CENTS?

To get layover or detention you have to be away from your home term. And it does't start till after 24 hrs. You learn all this stuff when you go to school.

Golly gee willikers, old six pack. What you do while laid over is your business. I don't think this is the proper place to talk about such things.
