Well guys I am back after being out 4 days with my trainer. My trainer is a good guy and has a lot of experience. Just what I was looking for. He's a regional so all we seen was Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana. We did 2200 paid miles in those four days. Because of the holiday slowing things down a bit we will go back out on Monday. Things are going well and my trainer has been letting me do a good part of the driving. Its amazing how a few consecutive days behind the wheels helps the confidence grow. I will say this with the 11 and 14 hour rule running hard is a way of life out there. Anyways have a great Independence weekend and be safe. [IMG]

TD, glad to hear about your trainer experience. You will be following in Baritone's footsteps and have your CDL in just a few more weeks! Sounds like miles have not been a problem for anyone. Like IH, just finished the first week in Richfield. With three of five days in the classroom, I must admit I was ready to come home for a couple of days. Next week, half the group is taking a trailer to Trenton, so that should leave plenty of driving/range time for the rest of us. Looking forward to that. Gents, have a great 4th! Catch you all later!

Ironman and IH hope you guys are having fun. Woody will be taking you guys on the roadtrip when you go and you'll have a blast. Saw you guys Thursday taking your morning break but didn't have a chance to stop and say hi befre you guys went back in the class then I was in the shower when ya'll left for lunch. Well maybe next time.

Baritone having someone to talk (text) to during some of the down time is most helpful, especially when that person is in a similar setting. Thanks man for helping some of the time go by.

I agree - You'll enjoy your trip with Woody. He's old school but the best part about him is he's teaching you and you dont even realize it.

TD - same here Man. I'm always just a text or call away. I hope we can get a chance to meet up in the next week or so.

Now stop posting and enjoy your weekend with your family! LOL

TD, hope all is well as I'm assuming you're back out on the road. We've done nothing but backing maneuvers since the other group went to Ohio. Being tested tomorrow on what we've covered so far. Some I feel pretty good about, others, well, I don't feel quite as confident about being able to knock them out of the park. You went through this recently. Any words of wisdom?
